I don't know what all to say really. K-leb and I weren't all that close anymore once he moved away. We had lost touch in the last bit of his life and for that I am saddned. While he was here we talked every once in a while, he came up the the high school, we sat around and talked, all kinds of good things. I guess what I am trying to say really is I love him and miss him dearly. In 2 weeks I am getting a new tattoo and it is going to be in honor of you cousin. I love ya. Close

Where to start. My boy is gone and nothing I can pray or wish for can change that. I miss him so much I find myself thinking of him daily. A song or a joke, cause he was a comedian of sorts, or a place, Stephenville is not a very big city, his friends who I see every day, are a constant reminder of the special boy he was. I can honestly say he was a smart kid. He could make you mad and laugh at the same time. I wish that some of you could have seen him growing up. He was a riot sometimes. He was in school plays, football games and at the end he was a pretty good bullrider. I lost him too early. But I guess that the Almighty needed him more than we did. He's probably making the angels laugh with his antics or maybe up there talking horses with all the greats of the past or jamming with his here Kurt Gobain. Ironic as that may seem. I will miss you son. My love for you will never waver even though your not here at home. I just know I will see you again. Till then I love you and may God keep you at peace. K-leb...I don't know what to say...I can't stop crying.  People are starting to wonder about me.  I moved away for just 3 months and now I believe that might have been the biggest mistake of my life.  I'm so sorry.  I love you so much.  You are my best friend.  And I don't care what anyone says, I can still feel u here.  I talk to you everyday...I sure hope you can hear me.  If not, then I must be going crazy.  Because everytime I turn the radio on, our song comes on.  You know, the one we used to sing together.  One day I will be able to say goodbye...but until then, peace...

I am so sorry about Caleb, you can see his "goodness" shining through in his pictures. You've got to know he's in HEAVEN, making GOD laugh and he's not in any pain, he's in the light, happier than we could ever begin to imagine! Our precious sons are H-A-P-P-Y themselves now, so when they make others laugh, like ours did, they can honestly feel the happiness too!!!!! We WILL see them again! Suicide is suffering without end. It bring emotions to our hearts that are unbearable. Life will never be the same and will always be changing in some small way. Caleb's Obituary  / Kelly Hughes (Mother)

Caleb was born May 7, 1988 in Richmond, and he passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 22, 2006 in Needville. Caleb was an accomplished horseman, guitarist, and artist and he was best known for his ability to find humor in just about anything. He was a loving son, brother, and friend and he loved to ride horses, play his guitar and hang out with his friends and family. He was also an aspiring bull rider. His love and warmth reached and touched everyone who knew him and would say he was "family" to those friends he made in life. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, James"Poppy" Allen and Manuel Luna Sr.; and grandmother, Elvira Luna. He is survived by his father: John Luna; mother and step-father: Kelly and Harold Hughes; brothers: Army Pvt. Clayton Carr, and Alex Luna; sister: Ashley Luna; maternal grandmother: Patricia Gayle Wilcox; step-grandfather: Tom Humes; aunts and uncles: James and Reagan Allen, Jodie and Jeff Morris, Manuel, Joe, Jesse, Jerry, George, David, and Cruz Luna; adopted mom: Pamela Shubert; and several cousins.
