Memorial website in the memory of your loved one

This website is an ongoing, ever evolving dedication to cherishing & preserving the memories & love for Caleb.

This memorial website was created in the memory of a most precious soul.   Caleb Wayne Carr was born in Richmond, Texas on May 07, 1988 and passed away on April 22, 2006 in Needville, Texas at the age of 17. We will remember him forever.

Caleb (or K-Leb, as he liked to be known) was a sweet, caring, highly intelligent, funny, talented, artistic person.  He will be missed by everyone that has ever been touched by his life.

He enjoyed playing his guitar and had been riding horses since he was about 2 years old.  He could ride any horse with skill & grace.

I will forever hold dear everything that comprised Caleb.  As long as I draw breath, he will not be forgotten.

This poem was read by Caleb's friend Blake at his funeral service:

A Prayer For A Cowboy
By Tony Takacs

We are sorry for this cowboy
who has gone to somewhere higher,
we will be graced by his presence no longer,
at our campfire.
May he have gone to somewhere greener,
where the creeks never run dry,
where the mountains and fields are endless,
and the stars all fill the sky.
Where horses run in hundreds,
where no fences can be seen,
where tragedy does not exist,
and rivers all run clean.
Thank you for the memories my friend
we'll be together soon
and I know that you'll watch over me,
from the clouds and the neon moon.
